Defined the relevant processes and necessary interfaces for a mobile data documentation system to the logistics division.

Task: Find the ideal mobile data documentation system capable of handling 40,000 shipments overnight and up to 25,000 container exchanges daily for a major German book wholesaler.

Assessed the existing book delivery processes, interviewed drivers to collect details over work practices, and researched possible vendors. Advised the management and set up project plan under tight time constraints. Prepared and coordinated a tender (Request for Proposal) for the mobile data documentation system, evaluated the bids of 11 responding vendors. Organized a two-step presentation and demonstration assessment for the shortlisted candidates and prepared the final decision base for the management.

The selected vendor successfully launched the project within the projected time frame of three months.
